Welcome To Dicky Beach Nippers

Nippers offer a fun and active lifestyle choice for children between the ages of 5 and 13, as well as a solid base for learning and competition in beach and water-based activities. Nippers is held every weekend between September and March (excluding a break over Christmas) and children are taught everything from sun and surf safety, beach sprints, board paddling and lifesaving skills like CPR and water rescues.

Our Nippers program is not just about the kids, it also encompasses parents who choose to become involved with either teaching beach activities to the kids or who want to achieve their own milestones like completing their Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze Medallion.

We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club and encourage everyone to become involved in the club and its activities throughout the year. There are many ways of helping and in our experience, there is nothing more satisfying than being involved with your children as they learn and have fun.

Using the SLSQ requirement of 1 water safety to 5 children. For parents interested in more of a mentor role we are always looking for new age manager to help guide and support our nippers.
