Message From The Club Captain
In 1950 the drowning of a swimmer at nearby Moffat Beach touched many lives and prompted the formation of the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Though the surf life saving movement has changed over the years, we continue to focus on the timeless commitment to provide a vigilant service, protecting swimmers from danger.
Membership of the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club brings with it many benefits, you are part of a family oriented club providing opportunities to participate in many life saving related activities. Many pathways for personal growth are available to you, encouraging long term participation in the life saving movement.
Being a lifesaver is a truly rewarding experience. You will reap the rewards of your efforts, making lifelong friends and earning respect for the great work you do.
